Art is Everywhere.
Everyone is an Artist.
The future is .ART
.ART creates an environment where the worlds of art, tech and finance can work together to provide its participants with a solid digital identity and a chance to reach a wider audience.
Our mission
is to support the artistic community, protect and strengthen its members' digital identity, and generate value from art. We are continually fostering partnerships and developing new tools to serve as an activation agent to connect tech, art and finance—digitally, but on a human scale.
Over the years, we have supported and led educational projects, initiatives in the museum community and projects empowering children and people with disabilities.

The history of .ART
.ART was launched
.ART was launched in December 2016 by Ulvi Kasimov, a venture investor and patron of the arts, whose company UK Creative Ideas Limited (UKCI) became an operator of .ART under an exclusive agreement with ICANN, the Internet regulating body. Among over 2000 new gTLDs released by ICANN, .ART was in the top-3 most contested.
2016
Available to general public
.ART became available to general public on May 10th, 2017. All major registrars, including GoDaddy, Namechimp and Alibaba started selling .ART, as it gave them an opportunity to reach an audience of young creatives, previously “lost” to the domain world because of their dominating reliance on social media.

WHOIS, WHATISTM, and Art Records (Digital Twin)
.ART is the first domain zone in Internet history to be granted permission by ICANN to extend Whoisdomain information fields, effectively creating Art Records. Art Records are additional information fields which can store data about creation and appearance of an art object. They are based on Object ID™, an international standard developed by the Getty Foundation. Hardwired into the .ART domain and visible in the public WHOIS directory, Art Records represent a digital solution that offers evidence of authenticity, bolstering the value of your artwork and cementing one’s ownership credentials.
